Hi Experts,
I am performing the upgrade of SAP Solution Manager 7.1 sps 14, with SUM SP16 patch 10. This upgrade was hanged i tried to reset it, but it is not resetting.
Deleted the SUM directory several times and un-packed the latest SUM sp16 patch10 and restarted the upgrade, but still it stucks at the same point.
It says
Java process re-settable,
Abap process not-resettable.
I am attaching the screen shot and SAPup.log
I would appreciate your valuable advise on this issue.

we are updating support package in ECC6.0, EHP4. while updating SPAM version from 7.01/0047 to 7.01/60,we are facing some serious errors.
Error: 1) in a phase Import_Proper,TP_STEP_FAILURE error occurred with return code 12
and SPAM upgradation failed due to above error.
The impact of above error, if we open any transaction code in devlopment server.its showing dump as below
Syntax error in program "SAPLPA_PACKAGE_SERVICES ".
The current ABAP program "SAPLSFW_COMMON" had to be terminated
because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
The following syntax error occurred in
program "SAPLPA_PACKAGE_SERVICES " in
include "CL_PACKAGE_HELPER=============CU " in
line 179:
"Type "SLS_PACKAGE_INFO" is unknown"
we have checked A log and S log,some name tabs shown inconsistent,we have resoloved these.
after resolving we have again run the SPAM but its failed and shown the error
Error: 2)" program terminated (job: RDDMASGL, no.:09382900)".
we have analyzed the above error in ST22,its showing the same first error i.e "SLS_PACKAGE_INFO" is unknown"
we are here with attaching the error1 and error2 screen shots for your kind consideration.
Please look in to the matter and guide us to resolve it ASAP.

However when I try to access the above link I am unable to launch the frontend, I get the below error:
The XML page cannot be displayed

XML document must have a top level element. Error processing resource 'http://hostname:1128/lmls/upgrade/T6...
One more thing to be noted that I cannot see the SAPup process running at OS level.
Any idea what could be wrong here, I am unable to find any other error in logs.

Hello Colleagues,
during Support Package deployment with SUM for an java only system we receive following error in the last step Finalization 5.0:
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: GC overhead limit exceeded
We aren't not able to identify the root cause for this issue.
Could someone help us here?

I tried to install the solution manager 7.2 on HANA.
My OS is Windows Server 2012 R2.
As you can see I got an error.
"SAP HANA Database is only released for LINUX X86_64 and LINUXPPC64. Please enter the correct database host name."
Is that true, that SAP HANA is only released for LINUX?

Status: ERP 6.00 EHP7 on HANA (SOH). CentralInstanz on Windows
Target: Installation ASCS andPAS on a new Windows Server (both on the same Server)
Steps:
SWPM 10_SP10_6 (newest)
1. Stop SAP Instanz on 'old Server' : Ok
2. Installation ASCS with BS 2013 SR2- EHP7 for ERP 6.0 ABAP SR2 - SAP HANA Database - Distributed System - ASCS : Ok
3. Installation PAS
- SWPM always ask after Exports - CD
So what is the right choice. the only path we found , where no Export CD is required is System copy
Is this the right way?
