  I've found out that SAP Note 2223723 states that the SPAM Check Component Software have an error for the

Component UISAPUI5 (It should be >= SP12 for SolMan 7.1 ST SP14).   The missing tables seems to belong to the UISAPUI5 component.

  The solution in this SAP Note is to modify the Check Component Software to force to check the UISAPUI5 Component to be greather than SP 12 BEFORE applying the Support Package 7.1 SP14, but this is too late because we already have the problem in the Import_Proper phase.

What can we do to fix the error?

Should we apply SAP Note 1022755 to force the Import phase to skip the Check up for these Tables during the IMPORT_PROPER phase? Won't this be a problem later for the UISAPUI5 Component and Tables that weren't updated by this Support Package?

Should we do a system recover and start over the process?

Using SUM16p2 to update ECC6EHP7 to ECC6EHP8, and have encountered a stoppage at phase MAIN_SHDIMP/SUBMOD_SHDDEL2/PSCRGEN_DROP_SHD_TABLE_EXE

The issue is the TSHDDR01 and TSHDDR10.XQL files contain errors: each contain a single statement 'drop table []', which is erroring our when the tool parses the files. The files seem to have a CRC check built in as well, so I am unable to manually update the files to proceed. I have tried to remove this line from each file, but then SUM throws a different message stating there are errors in the files.

If anyone has a suggestion as to how to proceed, please share this. I have an open OSS message but am told it will need a developer to investigate, and that will be Monday.

We do not have blank or null aliases for any of our tables - so I suspect the module that generated the files encountered some manner of fault.

I would love to skip this step and manually clean the tables up later, just so I do not still in place stalled until Monday on my upgrade.

I have attempted to go back in the upgrade in hopes of repeating the phase that generates these files, but I can only go back to the point of the failure, and it never reaches that point. From my estimate, the files were generated very early in the upgrade, as the DTS on the files shows a date of yesterday at 10pm, but the upgrade did not reach this failed step until 3:20am this morning.

Dear All,, I am facing a problem. In our development system there is two client 110 and 120. Among this two,, 110 is customizing client and 120 is Unit test client. 110 was having latest configuration but no master/transnational data. And 120 is having also configuration( not all) and test master/transaction data. Now to make the configuration same to same I have done a client copy from 110 to 120(as 110 is having good and latest configuration). Profile selected  SAP_CUST. But after the client copy all the transaction and master data gone from 120 client. It was strange I always know that SAP_CUST will copy only the configuration... not wipe the Transaction/Master data... then how to resolve it? I need your help. Regards, Asaduzzaman

hi,

I am on iSeries (AS400) and upgrading NW 7.4 (ABAP only) SPS9 to SPS14.

SUM is SP16(PL2)

I had to exit the SUM browser at end of day(with SUM process still running)

and i had daily backup running which prevented a directory being read,

which caused the SUM process to be error-ed out. Now the backup has

completed and all the directories are accessible. When i try to get

into

SUM browser it logs me in with sidadm without any issues, but the

screen

say

The tool is not running

When i click next, it says error occurred

Error Details :

Status Code : 503

Status text : Service Unavailable

Detailed Message : Message from service : SAPup process exited with

status -1 ,| Check the browser console for more information.

Any idea on how to fix this issue?

I have restarted saphostagent, also tried to register SUM to hostagent

again. Killed SUMSTART job PGM-SAPup-real from the OS level. None of

I am running SUM (sp16) to try and install a correction file that was generated by Maintenance Planner (verify system).  I am being presented by the following screen...

I have tried actually adding the paths (even though it say's not to include them).  Is there a configuration file for SUM that has the paths?  I have reviewed all the log files, without finding anything.

A bit of background:

Solution Manager 7.1

Managed system is ECC 6.0 Ehp 7

In solution manager, transaction LMDB for system passes verification.

SUM SP16_1, Host Agent 7.20 patch 207.

The correction file will (probably) remove a couple of product instances that are ambiguous .

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In case you can't read the attached PIC, I am in phase PREP_INIT/SETSYNC_PREP_STARTED and I am getting an error saying Last error code set: No  synchronization mechanism available

I have tried re-running the phase, but no luck, same error.  The logs don't really say much:

In case you can't read the attached PIC, I am in phase PREP_INIT/SETSYNC_PREP_STARTED and I am getting an error saying Last error code set: No  synchronization mechanism available

I have tried re-running the phase, but no luck, same error.  The logs don't really say much:

CURRENTPHASE PREP_INIT/SETSYNC_PREP_STARTED

...started at 20150806114645

# Setting syncpoint PREPARE=STARTED

..finished at 20150806114645 with status ABORTED.

# Error message set: 'No synchronization mechanism available'

...begin dialog at 20150806114658

I cannot find any notes/threads or searches that address this issue.

I'll open a message if I must, but I'd rather submit here first to see if anyone has an idea!

Hii guyz i did undertood what is SPAM . I t is tx code for support packages. After tht i started reading about SAINT and surprisingly it seemed same as SPAM. Though SAINT is for Add ons or plug ins the documentation http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/d7/56e89a884b11d2b422006094b9ea64/frameset.htm

given is saying support packs can be installed with SAINT. Can anyone plzz explain the exclusive difference.

while i am performing client copy using SAP_UCUS,SAP_UCSV i used these two profiles but i am not getting  master data .Please help me out in this friends.
