How Do I do to put this device in a change request?

While running DMO for SUM Im facing the following error.

Job completes successfully after 3 seconds, but SUM shows it as an error.

  I'm importing several Support Packages to update my Solution Manager 7.1 System up to Solution Tools ST SP14 (SAPKITL714). I used the SPAM Queue Calculator to add all the required Support Packages and extra Components.

Unfortunatelly the process stopped in the IMPORT_PROPER phase due to missing Tables.

- Error in phase:        IMPORT_PROPER

- Reason for error:    TP_STEP_FAILURE

- Return code:           0008

  I've found out that SAP Note 2223723 states that the SPAM Check Component Software have an error for the

Component UISAPUI5 (It should be >= SP12 for SolMan 7.1 ST SP14).   The missing tables seems to belong to the UISAPUI5 component.

  The solution in this SAP Note is to modify the Check Component Software to force to check the UISAPUI5 Component to be greather than SP 12 BEFORE applying the Support Package 7.1 SP14, but this is too late because we already have the problem in the Import_Proper phase.

What can we do to fix the error?

Should we apply SAP Note 1022755 to force the Import phase to skip the Check up for these Tables during the IMPORT_PROPER phase? Won't this be a problem later for the UISAPUI5 Component and Tables that weren't updated by this Support Package?

Should we do a system recover and start over the process?

Hi,

At the time of Installation I have given my system id: ABP. when I am trying to install the license and it shows the message below:

This is system "ABP", but there is a license key for system "NSP" in the license key file.

So I have change the license txt file and make SAPSYSTEM=NSP to SAPSYSTEM=ABP

then it shows the message below:

rc of SsfLibVerify: 5 = SSF_API_SIGNER_ERRORS = there are signer errors.

uResult = 27 = SSF_API_SIGNER_NOT_OK/SSF_API_RECIPIENT_NOT_OK = Signature not valid / operation not okay for recipient.

Can anybody give me any solution?

Hi all,

I thought I'd download the latest version of SUM as recommended by SAP to upgrade our Solman system from 4 to 7.1.  However when it gets to the Extraction phase 5.2 it complains about missing file CPRXRPM400.SAR even though that isn't in the Stack XML file.  When I give it a file of that name from K-40001INCPRXRPM.SAR it then asks for SAP_BASIS701.SAR!

What gives?  It's almost like it's trying to do a different upgrade.  Step 4 Confirm Target is correctly showing New Product Version(s) as SAP SOLUTION MANAGER 7.1 (ABAP) SAP SOLUTION MANAGER 7.1 (JAVA).

I'm at a loss as to what's going on here and might end up going back to the previous SP13 which didn't do this.

Any ideas?

UPDATE

I found the issue, turns out that in the log ASKDOWNLOAD.LOG just before it errored about the file being missing, it referred to an old stack xml file from 2013.   Once I renames all old stack xml files to .old and continued it resolved the problem.  Hope this helps anyone also experiencing this issue.  Seems to be a bug if you ask me.

Hi All

While importing tp import using STMS the transport hangs.

After doing a little research I found that that the tp creates a RDDDISOL

job (function rddgenbb with variant DIST) and it keeps failing and

creating dumps in the system.

The dump is "MESSAGE_TYPE_X" and comes from the function sdb2fmss after

it calls the mss_get_index_storpars function and it raises an "internal

error exception (2)".

The tp log last row is "start tp_getprots..." and it stays there forever.

Any idea what to do?

We have a SAP Netweaver PI 7.11 Dual-Stack System that currently has only PAS (CI) instance. We would like to perform split of ASCS (ABAP Central Service Instance) from PAS (CI). We believe this is done via SWPM sapinst. Can you advise on the steps to consider in performing the split and procedures?

Hi Experts,

we are performing a upgrade from 7.3 to 7.4. Generated the stack file containing all latest patches from marketplace.

During the configuration phase, we get the validation queue as OK, but there is a warning message stating

"Verification of Signed components finished with status warning "

Check verify-signed-content.log

When checking the VERIFY-SIGNED-CONTENT.LOG file, there are around 5 patches of components with warning messages as below

PM [Warning]: Cannot verify archive /saptest/ABC/VCKITBI06P_1-20010062.SCA : Cannot perform verification, because archive /saptest/ABC/VCKITBI06P_1-20010062.SCA does not contain a META-INF/SAP_DIGSIG_MANIFEST.MF file.

We opened the SCA file and indeed the META-INF/SAP_DIGSIG_MANIFEST.MF file is missing.

All other components have this manifest file and have been successfully verified except for this 5 patches.

My query is how do we sort this out. Tried downloading the SCA files many times, still the same issue.

Is there any issue if I continue the step ignoring this warning?

Has anyone faced similar issues. Pls Suggest

I read on SDN that Tcode STC01 can be used for automation of System copy.

It contains task list for pre and post System copy/refresh activities.

I tried executing TCode STC01 on my system. (ECC 6.0 EHP6).

However, this transaction does not exists.

Do I need to import some support package to get this Tcode and its functionality?

This could happen on any type of system I suspect, but it is on my Solution Manager (7.01 on Eh1). I downloaded a support stack (27)and was checking the components requirements.  I use the  Directory box in SPAM, and I go into New Support Packages. I highlight the support package for ST 400 then click on the Queue button.   It comes back with this message: OCS package SAPKITL437 does not match the current software component vector.

I click continue and the requirements window comes up. It shows that I have currently loaded the wrong BI_Content.  It says:  Non-permitted release of add-on BI_CONT installed.  The release information is BI_CONT,706.

If I go back to the main window to look at the current package level, I see that BI_CONT  component release (loaded) is 704 - sp 8. 

I must have gotten very creative when loading that back in 2008.  MOPZ was used, but it was before the support stack restrictions were in place on my system.

I can't get around this issue, because even trying to load the Basis support package I get this message. 

If anyone has had the problem and knows what to do I would appreciate some help.  Notes searching has not found anything.     So far my Customer message  has not been helpfull, but it is not SAP support .

I logged in 000 client to check if any jobs have failed or any dumps , but couldn't find one.

We have Done our NW7.4 Gateway ABAP system DB Migration from Oracle 11.3 to MaxDB 7.9 on Solaris 5.10 OS, while performing post activities

we are getting the issue during Checking the ABAP Secure store phase.

While checking the secstore we  are getting the issue as :Key … for entry … is missing in the secure storage in the file system”

So for the above Issue in the Inst Guide Solution as below:

As  per the above links we have tried , it is asking the Source system id Key value but unfortunately we don't have stored any key values of the source system.

In this case how we can proceed , is there any way to get the Source system key value, or else can we delete the source system key and generate the new key on  target system as per generate option in Key management -> generate option  in Secstore. if we do like this is there any other side effects will occur and any other things do we need to do.

during Support Package deployment with SUM for an java only system we receive following error in the last step Finalization 5.0:

java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: GC overhead limit exceeded

We aren't not able to identify the root cause for this issue.

Could someone help us here?

At the time of Installation I have given my system id: ABP. when I am trying to install the license and it shows the message below:

This is system "ABP", but there is a license key for system "NSP" in the license key file.

So I have change the license txt file and make SAPSYSTEM=NSP to SAPSYSTEM=ABP

then it shows the message below:

rc of SsfLibVerify: 5 = SSF_API_SIGNER_ERRORS = there are signer errors.

uResult = 27 = SSF_API_SIGNER_NOT_OK/SSF_API_RECIPIENT_NOT_OK = Signature not valid / operation not okay for recipient.

Can anybody give me any solution?
